The majority of our clients invest in a variety of products with numerous different providers. Many of these arrangements invest in equities and the most common ones of these are Unit Trusts, Investment Trusts or OEICs (Open Ended Investment Companies). Although some of these can be invested in directly they can also be invested in via ISA’s (Individual Savings Accounts), which have tax advantages over direct investment.
Our clients often invest for the long-term in pensions and use on-shore or off-shore investment bonds, depending upon their country of residence and long-term retirement plans. There are, however, alternatives to equities, including cash via a bank or building account, property and business investment, again our Advisers are happy to assist you when looking at one of these investments.
Oakfield Financial Services Limited has also built up a number of connections in the Stock Broking world and would be happy to recommend a suitable Stockbroker should you require more detailed and specific Direct Equities. We are also able to assist should you require something a little more risky, such as, VCT’s (Venture Capital Trust’s) or EIS’s (Enterprise Investment Scheme’s)
